By train or intercity bus:

From the main railway station: (if possible, rather get off at "Bahnhof Neustadt", it is a shorter trip!)

Take tram line 7 (direction Weixdorf) or tram line 8 (direction Hellerau) to the stop "Louisenstraße". There you turn right into "Louisenstraße" and walk along the street until you see the "Hostel Mondpalast" on the left side.

Total time approx. 20 minutes, approx. 700m to walk

From Neustadt station:

Leave the station through the main entrance. Turn left onto "Antonstraße" and walk ahead until you reach "Alberplatz". Turn left into "Alaunstraße" and walk until you can take a turn right into "Louisenstraße". Walk straight ahead until you see "Hostel Mondpalast" on the left side.

Total time approx. 15 minutes, approx. 1300 m to walk

If you don't want to walk, take the tram line 11 ( bus EV11 currently runs here instead of the tram) from Neustadt station in the direction of Bühlau, get off after 3 stops at Pulsnitzer Str. Turn left into Pulsnitzer Str. and walk on until you can turn left into Louisenstraße. From there walk straight ahead until you see "Hostel Mondpalast" on the right side.

Total time about 15 minutes, about 400 m to walk

By car:

Attention! There are hardly any parking spaces in the area, but there are many one-way streets.

Leave the motorway at the Hellerau exit and turn right onto the main road (B170/E55, Radeburger Straße) towards the city centre. The city is now at your feet so to speak and you drive straight in. Drive straight ahead (the street changes its name at some point and becomes Hansastraße). Drive straight on until you see McDonalds on the left and a big hotel (NH-Hotels) on the right. At this crossing you turn left into Fritz-Reuter-Straße. Continue straight on, passing under two railway bridges and crossing Königsbrücker Straße. The street you are on now is called Bischofsweg. On the left you will immediately see the Alaunplatz (large green square). At the end of the square, turn right into Kamenzer Straße and continue straight on until you can turn right into Louisenstraße. The "Hostel Mondpalast" is right at the corner.

From the airport:

The easiest way is to take the airport S-Bahn from the airport to Neustadt railway station, for further information see Neustadt railway station. Total time approx. 30 Minutes, approx. 1300 m to walk

At the airport, you can also take bus no. 77 to the stop Infineon Nord, change to tram no. 7 and get off at the stop Louisenstraße. Here you turn left into Louisenstraße and walk along the street until you see the "Hostel Mondpalast" on the left side.

Total time approx. 30 - 40 minutes, approx. 700 m to walk
