Im Hostel Mondpalast Dresden erwartet dich eine vielfältige Auswahl von geräumigen Zimmern, die alle nach den verschiedenen Sternzeichen gestaltet wurden. Es gibt eine breite Auswahl vom Einzel- bis zum 10-Bettzimmer. Einige der privaten Zimmer haben eine eigene Dusche/WC. Die Betten sind schon bezogen. Und das Beste ist: Das Hostel hat eine eigene Bar! Nach dem Absacker brauchst du nur noch die Etage hoch ins Bett zu fallen.

Das Hostel liegt mitten in Dresdens lebendigem Szeneviertel (der „Neustadt“), alle Kneipen und einige Clubs befinden sich in der näheren Umgebung. Nach dem ausgehen abends ist es niemals weit bis ins gemütliche Bett bei uns. Bis zum wunderschönen Elbufer braucht Ihr nur wenige Minuten und die beeindruckende, historische Altstadt sowie nahezu alle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht Ihr in 20 – 30 Minuten zu Fuß oder in 10 – 15 Minuten mit der Straßenbahn. Zudem könnt Ihr die großartige Umgebung Dresdens erkunden: Meissen, die Schlösser Moritzburg und Pillnitz sowie die „Sächsische Schweiz“, ein kleines, sehr schönes Gebirge und ein wahres Paradies für Kletterer und Wanderer!

Liked: Hostel zajmuję całą kamienicę: na parterze znajduje się ogólnodostępny pub z wydzieloną strefą kuchenno-wypoczynkową dla gości hostelu - i wbrew moim obawom, panuje tam swobodna atmosfera. W części kuchennej jest wszystko co niezbędne do przyrządzania posiłków: piekarnik z mikrofalą, dużo naczyń, drobne produkty spożywcze, jak przyprawy, itp Cały czas jest też dostępna kawa, mleko i liczne herbaty; na wyższych poziomach znajdują się pokoje i sanitariaty. To co rzuca się w oczy to czystość :-) I mimo, że wyposażenie nie jest nowoczesne, to łóżka są zaskakująco wygodne, a pościel świeżą i miękka - wysypiałem się bardzo dobrze. Wbrew licznym opiniom na piętrach było cicho, a gwar uliczny nie był uciążliwy. W okolicy dużo barów, klubów i restauracji, są też sklepy spożywcze i tramwaje.
Disliked: Trudno znaleźć wady, zwłaszcza kiedy porówna się standard z ceną. W obiekcie nie ma windy - ale jest w tym temacie mocna komunikacja. Obiekt znajduje się w alternatywnej części Drezna, co mi bardzo odpowiadało :-) Osoby chcące skupić się na zwiedzaniu centrum turystycznego muszą liczyć się z dojazdami komunikacją.
Cześć, bardzo się cieszę, że podobał ci się pobyt u nas i doceniłeś swobodną atmosferę panującą w naszym hostelu. Cieszymy się, że kuchnia była dobrze wyposażona, a nasze łóżka wystarczająco wygodne, abyście mogli dobrze się wyspać. Bardzo doceniamy komplement dotyczący czystości!
Znajdujemy się w samym sercu modnej dzielnicy Drezna, ponieważ to właśnie tam dzieje się najwięcej ciekawych rzeczy. Jest tu mnóstwo barów i klubów, gdzie można spotkać młodych mieszkańców Drezna. Jak zauważyliście, historyczne centrum miasta znajduje się zaledwie 30 minut spacerem lub 4 przystanki tramwajem.
Tak, mieścimy się w zabytkowym budynku, co dodaje mu uroku, ale niestety oznacza to brak windy. Nie martw się jednak, ponieważ to tylko maksymalnie dwa piętra, powyżej nie ma już pokoi gościnnych.

Liked: Es ist super, dass man fußläufig direkt mitten in der Partystraße der Dresdner Neustadt ist. Auch Tram und Bus, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind alle ohne Probleme fußläufig zu erreichen. Auch die Möglichkeit, sich günstig ein Fahrrad auszuleihen sind super.
Das Personal ist sehr nett, das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Das Bett ist bequem.
Disliked: Was mich im Bad meines Zimmers (106) gestört hat, war der bekannte aber nicht gelöste Wassereintritt an den Fliesen und von unter den Duschen. Über den Tag bildet sich hier eine große Pfütze, so dass man das Bad nur nach Trocknung nutzen kann. Gerade nachts nervig.
Die Lautstärke der Umgebung. Na klar geht man dieses "Risiko" ein, wenn man in der Partystraße der Neustadt übernachtet, der Flur und die Tür sind aber sehr hellhörig und man hört leider alles von außen und von innen.
Das vegetarische Frühstück ist Basic, die veganen Auswahl emfpande ich als sehr spärlich.

Wir verstehen, dass dies ein zweischneidiges Schwert sein kann und versuchen unser Bestes, um einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu gewährleisten.
Bezüglich des Frühstücks, wir bemühen uns, eine ausgewogene Auswahl anzubieten, und wir schätzen deine Anmerkungen zur Verbesserung unseres vegetarischen und veganen Angebots. Da wir bereits Hummus, Tomaten- und Zimt"butter", Kuchen, Pfannkuchen und sogar eine Käsevariante in vegan anbieten, wundert es uns, dass dir etwas gefehlt hat, aber wir werden schauen, ob wir dies noch verbessern können.

Ankunft, Einchecken, Frühstück (Extra) extrem unkompliziert und gechilled.Minimalste (akustische) Einschränkung war eine nächtliche Lüftung(?) im Innenhof. The rooms have big lockers.
The beds comfy enough but unfortunately no privacy curtains.
I was on the 1st floor and there was a mixed and single female bathrooms, separate male and female showers.
A nice kitchen and bar at the entrance downstairs.
Everything was clean.
The location was perfect for me as a have my bike and cycled everywhere...old town, the city, the river, and just wandered.
I always felt safe.
Definitely a place to stay.

Rooms, beds, bathrooms, toilets very clean.
Plenty of outlets plus individual lamps at bedside. Sadly no privacy curtains for beds. Very roomy individual lockers.
No elevator so if you can't climb 30 steps to 1st floor, see another location.
Nice sized bar/ breakfast area and a small kitchen for guests
Lots of families with small children when I was there but we'll behaved.
Excellent location as I rode my bike everywhere.

Indeed, our building's historic charm means we can't have an elevator, but we think the short climb to the rooms is a small price to pay for the character of the place.

Mussten aus geschäftlichen Gründen eine Nacht übernachten und hatten eine angenehme Nacht. Die Betten sind sauber und bequem, es gibt zahlreichend Duschen auf den Etagen und in der hosteleigenen Bar kann man nach einem langen Tag noch entspannt auf ein, zwei Getränke bleiben, bevor man ein Stockwerk weiter oben ins Bett fallen kann. Es gibt scheinbar auch viele Veranstaltungen, wie Karaoke, allerdings hatten wir dafür leider keine Zeit. Besonders hat uns der kostenlose Kaffee am Morgen gefallen. Der Check In war sehr unkompliziert, es gab keine unnötig langen Formulare, die Anweisungen waren klar und deutlich und ließen keine Fragen offen. Durch den besonders freundlichen Empfang der Mitarbeiter konnten wir entspannt starten und zum Abschied gab es noch ein paar Sticker. Wir kommen bei unserem nächsten geschäftlichen Aufenthalt gerne wieder. - Martin&friends

I stayed at the hostel during Easter 2025 and would like to thank James for his responsiveness, kindness, and support throughout my stay! I’m really glad I had the chance to meet such a pleasant person.
As for the hostel itself, I was pleasantly impressed by the level of service (24/7 reception, a well-equipped and comfortable kitchen, bike rentals, a bar, and a cozy outdoor terrace), the cleanliness of all shared areas, and the tasty, nutritious breakfasts.

We booked a 6 beds shared room.
The service was quite helpful and easy to contact. The rooms and toilets were clean and comfortable. The location is central, you can find supermarkets and transportation 2 streets away, and several restaurants and bars around the street.
So glad to hear you had a swell time at our place! It's always cool to know that guests found our rooms comfy and our service helpful.
And yes, you nailed it! The location is definitely one of our highlights. Just a hop, skip, and a jump away from all the buzz of Dresden's trendy district and a breezy walk or short tram ride to the historic town center.
We also pride ourselves on keeping things fresh and tidy daily. That's why we ensure our rooms and bathrooms have a cleanup every day to keep everything in tip-top shape for our guests.

We stayed with 7 friends in one room and it was a very nice experience. The check-in and check-out were very easy, good communication, you can get coffee and tea there for free, the place was clean. I really liked this place and would definitely recommend it ☺️

Super clean, great location, felt safe, nice staff, free coffee and tea - Honestly one of the best hostels I've stayed in! Wifi a bit tricky, which I think is a must-have when travelling without data... but maybe this was a fluke and otherwise I HIGHLY recommend this place.
