Im Hostel Mondpalast Dresden erwartet dich eine vielfältige Auswahl von geräumigen Zimmern, die alle nach den verschiedenen Sternzeichen gestaltet wurden. Es gibt eine breite Auswahl vom Einzel- bis zum 10-Bettzimmer. Einige der privaten Zimmer haben eine eigene Dusche/WC. Die Betten sind schon bezogen. Und das Beste ist: Das Hostel hat eine eigene Bar! Nach dem Absacker brauchst du nur noch die Etage hoch ins Bett zu fallen.

Das Hostel liegt mitten in Dresdens lebendigem Szeneviertel (der „Neustadt“), alle Kneipen und einige Clubs befinden sich in der näheren Umgebung. Nach dem ausgehen abends ist es niemals weit bis ins gemütliche Bett bei uns. Bis zum wunderschönen Elbufer braucht Ihr nur wenige Minuten und die beeindruckende, historische Altstadt sowie nahezu alle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht Ihr in 20 – 30 Minuten zu Fuß oder in 10 – 15 Minuten mit der Straßenbahn. Zudem könnt Ihr die großartige Umgebung Dresdens erkunden: Meissen, die Schlösser Moritzburg und Pillnitz sowie die „Sächsische Schweiz“, ein kleines, sehr schönes Gebirge und ein wahres Paradies für Kletterer und Wanderer!

It's a long walk from the main railway station. I wish I'd used Dresden Neustadt station which is much closer. Staff were very friendly. My private room was clean and pleasantly decorated. Can't really comment on the atmosphere as I was unwell during my stay and spent most of the time in my room, but it seemed ok. The free coffee all day was nice.

Unsere Lage mitten im Dresdner Szeneviertel macht’s leicht, abends was zu erleben – Bars und Clubs sind direkt ums Eck und die Neustadt pulsiert vor jungen Leuten. In die Altstadt kommst du gemütlich in etwa 30 Minuten zu Fuß oder schnell mit der Straßenbahn in vier Stationen.
Klasse, dass dir auch unser Abendprogramm gefallen hat. Genau so soll’s sein: locker, herzlich und mit vielen Möglichkeiten, Leute kennenzulernen.

Liked: tolles ambiente. vintage. super atmosphäre. bett konnte man sich selbst aussuchen. super lage. mirarbeiterin AMANDA war super freundlich. hostel ist gleichzeitig auch eine bar. duschen super.
Disliked: zimmer sehr hellhörig. türen sollten mal geölt werden (quietchen sehr laut), man muss sich auf fremde einstellen die, wie soll ich sagen, die laut sind und keinen schlafen lassen. bis in den abendstunden (ca. 23:30-00:00 Uhr) war laute musik aus der bar zu hören, schlafen konntr man erst danach wirklich

Das Hostel ist Tip top! Sehr sauber, aufgeräumt, gut ausgestattet und das Personal war auch super freundlich.
Auch die Lage hat überzeugt. Das Viertel ist sehr bunt und es gibt alleine dort viel zu entdecken.
Ansonsten ist man aber auch in knappen 20 min mit der Tram in der Altstadt bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Great hostel in the absolute best part of Dresden. There was a really cool vibe, especially with the bar and common area with free tea/coffee, that seemed an integrated part of the city. On the night we stayed, there was lots of locals there as well, and a really great atmosphere beyond the usual 'hostel-vibe'. The rooms were decent and clean, and there was plenty of bathrooms. Will definitely return of I'm ever in Dresden again.

My stay was comfortable and I enjoyed the location. It’s a little far from the old town center (30min walk) but right in the heart of the local life. Great options for food close by without being caught in an expensive tourist trap. Breakfast at hostel was a little expensive (€12), but there are lots of good options close by for cheaper. Kitchen was cute, and had the basics for what you would need. Atmosphere was a little lacking the first couple days, but got better later on. Would recommend.

On est ravi aussi que la grande chambre familiale avec salle de bain et le petit déjeuner t’aient convenu. Pour explorer la vieille ville, c’est une jolie balade d’environ 30 minutes à pied, ou tout simple en tram avec quatre arrêts.

Although I only stayed for a night, the staff at mondpalast were honestly so kind and helpful it was lovely I felt very welcome and the atmosphere on the night I arrived was good too they had their quiz night on and people in the bar were getting involved. Despite the staff having to deal with a difficult guest they dealt with him politely, swiftly and professionally and were relaxed and caring towards the rest of the guests 10/10 to staff, I’d definitely come back but hopefully for longer next.

There are many bars and restaurants on the right street after coming out of the youth hostel, which is very convenient. The accommodation environment is also relatively clean. The kitchen is very spacious and close to the street with windows.
