Хостел Mondpalast расположен в самом центре оживленного модного района Дрездена ("Нойштадт"), в непосредственной близости находятся бары и клубы. После ночной прогулки вам не далеко до уютной кровати. Прекрасный берег Эльбы расположен всего в нескольких минутах хотьбы. Вы можете добраться до впечатляющего исторического старого города и почти до всех достопримечательностей за 20 - 30 минут пешком или за 10 - 15 минут на трамвае. Кроме того, вы можете исследовать великолепные окрестности Дрездена: Майсен, замки Морицбург и Пильниц и также "Саксонскую Швейцарию", маленькие, очень красивые горы и настоящий рай для альпинистов и путешественников!

Disliked: zimmer sehr hellhörig. türen sollten mal geölt werden (quietchen sehr laut), man muss sich auf fremde einstellen die, wie soll ich sagen, die laut sind und keinen schlafen lassen. bis in den abendstunden (ca. 23:30-00:00 Uhr) war laute musik aus der bar zu hören, schlafen konntr man erst danach wirklich

Das Hostel ist Tip top! Sehr sauber, aufgeräumt, gut ausgestattet und das Personal war auch super freundlich. Auch die Lage hat überzeugt. Das Viertel ist sehr bunt und es gibt alleine dort viel zu entdecken. Ansonsten ist man aber auch in knappen 20 min mit der Tram in der Altstadt bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Quiet & nice place for good rest

Great hostel in the absolute best part of Dresden. There was a really cool vibe, especially with the bar and common area with free tea/coffee, that seemed an integrated part of the city. On the night we stayed, there was lots of locals there as well, and a really great atmosphere beyond the usual 'hostel-vibe'. The rooms were decent and clean, and there was plenty of bathrooms. Will definitely return of I'm ever in Dresden again.

My stay was comfortable and I enjoyed the location. It’s a little far from the old town center (30min walk) but right in the heart of the local life. Great options for food close by without being caught in an expensive tourist trap. Breakfast at hostel was a little expensive (€12), but there are lots of good options close by for cheaper. Kitchen was cute, and had the basics for what you would need. Atmosphere was a little lacking the first couple days, but got better later on. Would recommend.

Pour explorer la vieille ville, c’est une jolie balade d’environ 30 minutes à pied, ou tout simple en tram avec quatre arrêts. Although I only stayed for a night, the staff at mondpalast were honestly so kind and helpful it was lovely I felt very welcome and the atmosphere on the night I arrived was good too they had their quiz night on and people in the bar were getting involved. Despite the staff having to deal with a difficult guest they dealt with him politely, swiftly and professionally and were relaxed and caring towards the rest of the guests 10/10 to staff, I’d definitely come back but hopefully for longer next.

There are many bars and restaurants on the right street after coming out of the youth hostel, which is very convenient. The accommodation environment is also relatively clean. The kitchen is very spacious and close to the street with windows. Unglaublich gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die angegebenen Dienstleistungen, das Zimmer, das Bad, usw. waren alles in Ordnung.Die Küche hat eine kleine kostenloses Essen Abteilung von Gästen, die schon ausgecheckt sind. Ich musste nicht mal Butter und Salz kaufen. Ja, sicher, man spart damit keine 100 €, zählt immer noch. Aber natürlich ist das nicht angegeben, weil das Hostel das Essen selber nicht gewährleistet. Fand ich immer noch toll und ich würde hier deswegen noch unterbracht werden.

Liked: The common space is very nice, breakfast full, staff very friendly. Everything was easy and good value for money. Disliked: It was a little cold in the corridors/bathroom. Breakfast is a bit expensive but it's a large buffet.

I know I was there in a down time so ambiance was obviously not great but still was amazing. You want clean? That’s the place, no questions asked. Places to visit are a little walk away or quick tram ride but the views are definitely worth it. Will definitely go back if make another trip to Germany and pass through Dresden.
