Hostel Mondpalast

El Albergue Mondpalast ofrece una amplia variedad de habitaciones: Desde habitaciones sencillas hasta habitaciones con 10 camas por dormitorio. Todos sus diseños están inspirados en los Signos del Zodiaco. Algunas de las habitaciones privadas tienen su baño privado (Ensuite). Las camas están hechas. Lo mejor de todo es que el Albergue tiene su propio bar! Después de unas copas, estarás a sólo unos pasos de tu cama.

Muy buena Ubicación

MondPalast está ubicado en el corazón de Dresden, en el adorable y popular barrio: "Neustadt". Todos los bares y clubs se encuentran aquí. Puedes salir a recorrer la ciudad y siempre estarás cerca para volver a disfrutar tu cómoda cama. Desde nuestro albergue, te tomará solo unos minutos para llegar al paseo del Río Elba, desde donde puedes admirar la impactante e histórica ciudad vieja: "Altstadt". Para llegar a casi todas las atracciones que esta hermosa ciudad te ofrece, necesitas unos 20-30 minutos caminando o 10 minutos en tranvía.

También, puedes explorar los alrededores de Dresden como por ejemplo: Meiseen, el castillo Moritzburg y Pillnitz, "Saxon Switzerland": Un Parque Nacional que es un real paraíso para los excursionistas amantes de la Naturaleza, la escalada y el senderismo.

Cool bar downstairs - that is also Open to the public which negates some of the hostel atmosphere a bit. Breakfast is available for a fee (kinda expensive — €12), breads and cereal, pretty basic. Beds clean, already made. Big lockers. Clientele kinda strange - one of the dudes in my room invited his girlfriend in multiple times — hostels should have a no outsides policy..? Especially in the rooms. Showers okay, private enough. Great location, in the funky Neustadt. 20 min walk to old town.

Check in war sehr einfach und schnell, die Dieses Gebäude hat überhaupt keinen Schalldämmungseffekt, daher ist es manchmal etwas laut.Küche funktioniert gut aber in der Mikrowelle gab es noch 2 Pizzastücke, weiß nicht wie alt die sind, niemand hat darum gekümmert. Generell war es gut, die Leute dort sind freundlich und in dem Zimmer habe ich nur ruhige Leute kennengelernt.

Liked: Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Trotz Silvester war es im Schlafraum angenehm ruhig. Man konnte problemlos auch nachts ins Hostel nach der Silvesterfeier und morgens wurde man mit einem schönen Frühstück begrüßt. Die Lage 5 Minuten von der Tram 11 entfernt war toll und ermöglichte eine unkomplizierte Anreise. Disliked: -

Den Hinweis zu Vorhängen an den Betten haben wir gehört. Wir suchen schon etwas länger nach einer guten Lösung, der Sichtschutz sollte ja auch solide und hygienisch sein. Wir sind da dran. Liked: Café de graça! Havia uma cabine antes dos banheiros compartilhados, oferecendo uma boa privacidade mesmo em hostel. O quarto era muito bonito e confortável. A equipe um amor de pessoa. Café de graça! Noite de karaokê. Muito animados. Também estão disponíveis 24 horas. Disliked: Os banheiros com privada e pia não eram tão confortáveis.

The experience was good but the only thing I would suggest is that you pleaseee keep the heaters on for a longer time. Unfortunately, it was very cold most of the time because turning them on only a few times a day was definitely not enough 🫠.

For comfort and sustainability, our heaters pause a few times each day and we avoid heating empty rooms. Liked: Our second time staying within two years. We love the location, great neighborhood, near to shops, restaurants, the Winter Hütten Zauber, and walking distance to the Old city. The hot full power shower was a bonus. Free coffee in sociable lounge area also appreciated. Disliked: Mattresses were a little "sunken." Are they futons? Could use an update.
