We can make many things possible for you. Would you like to have dinner together? Do you need packed lunches? Luggage storage? Would you like breakfast to be ready at a certain time? Would you like to use our bar for a party, lecture or event? Would you like to book a tour or pre-book a restaurant?

We have a maximum of 100 beds in 24 rooms. We have various private single and twin rooms with private showers for the carers. For the participants there are small and large multi-bed rooms with shared showers: three five-bed rooms, five six-bed rooms, one 7-bed room, one 8-bed room and one ten-bed room. There are also two four-bed rooms, one with a shower in the room, one with a shared shower on the floor, and four three-bed or two-bed rooms.

The shared showers have been renovated and modernised in recent years. There are enough showers and toilets on each floor so that no-one has to wait, even in larger groups!

We will discuss the specific layout when you book, depending on your wishes and requirements and our availability.

Yes, we have special prices and offers for groups, which are cheaper than the price for individual overnight stays. The actual price depends on a number of factors: Size of the group, length of stay, desired days of the week, season, number of carer rooms, demand, available rooms, desired additional services etc.

All beds are always made up, this service and the cost of bed linen are included in the price. We also offer breakfast for groups at a significantly lower price.

There are no single room surcharges or extra charges for empty beds, but there are also no free places. We calculate a transparent price for the whole group. It's up to you to decide whether you would like to charge someone a free room or higher costs for a single room.

Examples:

In the low season, the price per person/night for 2x single rooms and 22 students in shared rooms with 4-6 beds is on average between €24.50 and €26.50 for stays of 4 nights during the week.

In the high season, the prices are approximately between €27 and €34 per person/night for a similar group size, layout and length of stay.

As a group, you need a different level of planning security than individual guests - and so do we. That's why we have these cancellation conditions for groups:

• You can cancel free of charge at any time up to six weeks before arrival and do not have to pay anything.
• Six to two weeks before arrival, cancellations or changes cost 50% of the accommodation price.
• Two to one week before arrival it is 80%.
• From one week before arrival, the full amount of the overnight stay must be paid.
• Cancellation fees only apply to the amount of the overnight stay. Other services, such as breakfast or dinner, towel hire or similar, will only be charged according to actual use.
• If we manage to allocate cancelled beds or rooms to other guests, the cancellation fee will be waived. It is therefore worth letting us know about any changes as soon as possible. The sooner, the greater the chance that we can find a good solution for you.

Every day we serve an extensive vegetarian all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with lots of homemade spreads, pancakes, boiled eggs and endless juice, coffee and tea.

For groups of 25 or more, we will be happy to cook a vegetarian dinner for you if you order in advance. This is then available for you at the desired time and always includes a starter or salad, a dessert and a non-alcoholic drinks station.

We do not serve lunch. However, we are happy to prepare packed lunches for you. This includes two sandwiches, a fruit, a drink and two small sweets. If you have any other special requests, we will of course be happy to fulfil them.

Of course, the guest kitchen is there for all our guests, including you. Please note that it is more suitable for individual hostel guests in terms of space, the number of hobs and utensils, and the storage and cooling facilities. A smaller group can easily cater for themselves. If you are more than 20 people, we therefore recommend that you use our catering service or an external one.

You will stay in a Wilhelminian-style building with history and character in the heart of Dresden's trendy neighbourhood. A cosy lounge and bar are available for your events. Dresden has its own charm in every season, but there are differences depending on what you plan to do:

In the spring (March through May), Dresden is pleasantly quiet, the temperatures are mild, and you can explore the Old Town and the Elbe meadows without large crowds—ideal for city tours and museum visits.

Summer (June through August) is particularly well-suited for outdoor activities: bike rides along the Elbe, a trip to Saxon Switzerland, or a swim in the Elbe. However, Dresden is also at its busiest with tourists during this time.

Fall (September through October) brings golden light and fewer crowds—a great time for anyone who wants to experience Dresden in a more relaxed atmosphere.

In winter, especially during the Advent season, the city transforms into a magical wonderland with the Striezelmarkt and Christmas lights—a highlight for school trips just before Christmas.
