Sustainability is, among other things, a question of an other shopping behaviour. In Dresden, there are of course some shops that offer environmentally friendly, ecological and fair-trade quality products. Here is a small selection:

Dresden's first organic nightshop in the middle of the activist neighborhood Rudolfkiez. Only organic products are offered (also with vegan options).

The organic market in Dresden-Neustadt on Fritz-Reuter-Strasse is only for members. Non-members can also shop in the other shops like theo one on Friedensstraße, but then it is more expensive...

🏪Vorwerk Podemus

This organic market chain has a rich history. The company exists for a long time in the countryside of Dresden, they started with potato sales and now produce organic meat and other sausages as well as fresh milk. Their idea is to bring good products from the countryside to the city.

Since 2015 the Zero-waste shop sells not only food (mostly organic), but also cosmetics and other items for daily needs.
